Day in the Life of Athena
9:00am:
I start the day working with Erin to check for any payments from clients and update any changes across all the programs. The main thing is to make sure the information is synced across all programs.
10:00am:
I get onto outlook to answer emails regarding any payments, and enquiries from our clients or campaign managers from within E-Web.
10:30am:
Wander on downstairs to get the mail and have fun distributing it around the office to all the recipients. Enjoy being the messenger of Catch of the Day goodies or Nerf guns coming through the mail!
11:00am:
Chase up payments with some friendly reminders through email or direct calls to clients.
1:00pm:
E-Web’s lunch hour! I jump in line at the microwave as early as I can, then join the rest of the crew around the lunch table. Every so often I’ll try my hand at play station, but let’s just say my skills aren’t exactly up there (more like ‘fail’).
1:55pm:
I take care of my group’s cleaning duties for the week with Eling, Kiri, Tom and Stefan
2:00pm:
Continue calling clients and getting programs synced together. By this stage of the afternoon, I start battling it out with Erin for her SpongeBob Squarepants cushions from her chair.
3:00pm:
I work on the auditing while Erin takes charge of the ‘Big Stuff’ of the accounts. At this time it’s also really common for people from other departments to poke their head in and say hello – this usually involves an impromptu puppet show from Noor, our copywriter!
Favourite thing about HSF:
Having everyone in the office always so happy and smiling – even when people say ‘hi’ they’re always so cheerful and full of genuine support.
Best achievement:
Self-realisation of my play station abilities (or lack thereof). I’ve learnt to accept that me holding a play station control just equals fail. And that’s okay.
