6:00am:
Hit the gym with other E-Webbers, like Daniel, Dan, Marc, sometimes Roberto
9:00am:
Get to work – smiling at the day ahead and this smile getting bigger as I climb up the stairs to the office. Start off with some admin and turn on my computer in the Tiki Island awesomeness that is our department area. Go through my emails, plan out my day for the first 15 minutes.
9:30am:
Try and get my calls to clients done first thing in the morning. Talk about how campaign is going and give them some further advice.
11:00am:
Have a meeting with one of the SEO programmers about what we can improve in a particular campaign
11:30am:
Work on an independent project to help my team do their jobs better, for example an email template, or a system improve to procedure
1:00pm:
Dodge nerf bullets on way to rec room while everyone’s already getting stuck into lunch hour festivities. Watch video games, or, on the odd occasion actually join in – depending how overconfident I feel that day! Otherwise, I’m catching up with friends, either at the lunch table as a big group or one-on-one outside the office.
2:00pm:
Make some more phone calls with clients after lunch if I didn’t reach them in the morning
4:00pm:
Communicate with other clients and stakeholders (like web developers or copywriters via email to make sure they’re on track with the tasks at hand for them)
5:00pm:
Research hour – do some learning to further my role (I’m currently reading a book on client rapport)
6:00pm:
Wind up for the day, tie up any loose ends and wave goodbye to E-Web for another evening!
Favourite thing about HSF:
Experiencing it everyday, being able to grow with it and getting to share it with others. It’s one thing to have it for yourself, but to have that as a team and get to share it with others is exponentially better. Getting to high-five everyone I pass in the office.
Greatest achievement at E-Web Marketing:
To be accepted as part of this amazing and supportive and awesome and talented and awesome a few more times group of people. Convincing them to let me be a part of all this!!!
