Web Copy Specialist
As a Content Strategist at E-Web Marketing, your role is based around creating engaging content for clients’ web pages, designed to help them improve their brand reach, search engine rankings and online conversions. You will also play a vital role in creating and executing PR, social media and web content strategies for E-Web Marketing.
The day to day duties include:
- Running internal writing projects such as the E-Web Newsletter and Paid to Learn blog, newsletter and site
- Working directly with clients to ensure that your copy reflects their business
- Conducting independent research on commissioned topics and industries you are required to write about
- Working independently to juggle and meet multiple deadlines at any one time
- Liaising directly with Campaign Managers and SEO Programmers to ensure team cohesiveness, campaign performance and client satisfaction
- Editing and tweaking existing content on client sites
- Seeing your writing splashed all over the internet!
Skills required for this role
- Strong command of English writing, including grammar, punctuation and vocabulary
- A passion for expression through the written word
- Effective editing skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to write effective sales copy across a range of different industries, products and services
- Highly competent and independent research skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and WordPress
- Organisational capacity to juggle multiple deadlines at one time
- Interpersonal communication skills and willingness to liaise directly with clients
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Qualifications and/or experience in journalism a major plus
- Experience and/or interest in social media a major plus
